We can help with
What to contact us about
A few words on what to include so we can act on your message right away.
Corrections
Spotted a wrong code, a timing error, a historical date that does not match the sources, or a typo? Send the page URL and what you believe is wrong. Verified corrections are published within days, and we are grateful for every one.
Partnerships
Teachers, scout leaders, radio clubs, museums and app developers get in touch about using our tools in classes, events or products. Tell us what you are building and how many people it reaches; we are open to most educational uses.
Press
Journalists and podcasters are welcome to quote the site and to ask us about Morse code history, how the translator works, or why people still learn the code. Include your outlet and deadline.
Bug reports
If a tool misbehaves, tell us which page, what you typed, what you expected, what happened instead, and your browser and device. A screenshot helps a lot. Also check the system status page first.

Before you write: quick self-help
Most questions we receive are answered on these pages.
The translator gives a "?"
A "?" in decoded text means a group of dots and dashes is not a valid International Morse character. Check the spacing: one space between letters, a slash between words.
No sound when I press play
Browsers block audio until you interact with the page, and some phones mute web audio in silent mode. Tap the page, raise the volume and try again.
Is this code correct?
Compare it with the printable chart, which lists every letter, number and punctuation mark in the international standard.
I want to write for you
Read the guest post guidelines first: topics, length, links and how to pitch. Then email us with "Guest post" in the subject.
I need Morse in my own app
The developer guide has working JavaScript, Python and PHP snippets, and the API page documents the programmatic interface.
How is my data handled?
The tools run in your browser and we keep no account data. The privacy policy explains the little we do collect.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to get a reply?
Usually within two business days. Corrections and bug reports are answered first. We do not send automated replies, so if you hear nothing after a week, please write again in case the first message went astray.
Can you translate a message for me?
You can do it instantly with the translator or the decoder. If you have Morse in a picture, a bracelet or a tattoo, the picture translator page walks you through reading it. If you are still stuck, email us the dots and dashes and we will take a look.
Do you offer support by phone or chat?
No. CodigoMorse.io is a small project and email is the only channel, which lets us give every message proper attention.
Can I use your tools in my classroom or event?
Yes, freely. Teachers and scout leaders use the site every day. Print the chart, use the kids page and practice quiz, and tell us if you need something specific.
Where do I report a privacy concern?
Same address: [email protected]. Our privacy policy explains what we collect (very little) and your rights.
Prefer to explore first?
