Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use CodigoMorse.io, its tools, its API and its content. They are short because the service is simple: a free website you can use for learning, teaching and sending Morse code.
Acceptance
By visiting CodigoMorse.io or using any of its tools you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The terms cover every part of the service: the translator, decoder, audio and light simulators, the binary, phonetic and Caesar cipher tools, the reference pages and guides, the blog, the API documentation and anything else published under codigomorse.io, in any language.
The service
CodigoMorse.io is a free, advertising-supported website. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may suspend the site for maintenance. We aim for high availability (see the system status page) but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Permitted use
You may use the site to translate, learn, practice, teach and share Morse code, and to read and link to our content. Use of the tools is unlimited for personal, educational and commercial purposes.
You may not:
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting;
- scrape or copy the site's pages in bulk, or republish our guides as your own;
- use the site to send spam, harassment or unlawful content;
- misrepresent an affiliation with CodigoMorse.io.
Accuracy and safety
We work hard to keep every translation and every fact correct, and we follow the International Morse Code standard (ITU-R M.1677-1). Even so, the service is provided "as is", without any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or availability.
Do not rely on this website in an emergency. If you need help, contact local emergency services by phone or radio. Verify any translation independently before using it for anything important, such as a tattoo, engraving, gift or published work.
Intellectual property
Morse code itself is a public-domain standard. The output of our tools (the dots and dashes, audio files and text you generate) is yours to use freely, with no attribution required.
The site's original content (guides, articles, illustrations, page design, source code of the templates and tools) belongs to CodigoMorse.io and is protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with a link to the source. Reproducing whole pages, redistributing our code or using our name or logo commercially requires written permission; ask at [email protected].
Guest articles remain the copyright of their authors, who grant us a permanent license to publish them (see Write for Us).
API and developer use
The API documentation and developer guide are published for integration and learning. Programmatic access is subject to the rate limits stated in the documentation and to fair use. Automated bulk requests that degrade the service for others may be blocked without notice.
Third-party content and links
Our pages link to external resources we find useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Advertising shown on the site is served by third-party networks under their own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodigoMorse.io and the people who run it are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss caused by an incorrect translation, a service interruption or a third-party site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.
Privacy
How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy and cookie policy, which form part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be heard by the competent courts in Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service changes. The current version is always on this page with the date of the last revision at the top. Using the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions about them can be sent to [email protected] or through the contact page.
This document was last revised on October 7, 2026. It is also available in Spanish and Portuguese; the English text governs the English edition of the site.

Yes. Morse code is public domain and the output of the tools is yours, for personal or commercial use, with no attribution needed.
Can I copy a guide onto my own website?
Short quotes with a link are fine. Republishing whole pages is not; ask us first.
Is the service guaranteed to be accurate?
We follow the international standard and test every tool, but the service is provided as is. Double-check anything important and never rely on the site in an emergency.
